HCRG Care Group, a UK-based private healthcare provider, has reportedly been targeted by a ransomware group, Medusa, resulting in the breach of over two terabytes of sensitive data. The attackers are demanding a $2 million ransom and threatening to expose or sell the data if not paid. HBI spoke with Lisa Ventura MBE, a member of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and founder of Cyber Security Unity Limited, to discuss the HCRG attack.
