Dr Amit Varma

Dr Varma is currently the founding managing co-founder of Quadria capital one of the largest healthcare dedicated private equity funds in Asia. Dr Varma has over 30 years of experience in critical care medicine, operations, M&A and private equity in the United States and Asia. He holds a medicine degree from the University of Delhi, sub speciality degree from the University of Pittsburgh and State university of New York along with business degree courses exposure in the United States. Dr Varma continues to co-manage and sits on the Investment committee of Quadria Capital headquartered in Singapore with an advisory office in New Delhi, India. The fund is currently investing thru its fourth fund and has more than 2 billion USD as its AUM. He has also co sponsored HealthQuad which is India’s largest early stage healthcare dedicated fund with close to 100 million USD AUM and is currently raising a 200 million USD vehicle.
