Fatih Mehmet Gul is a physician with experience in healthcare management and currently the Chief Executive Officer of Fakeeh University Hospital, UAE.

Education: He got his medical degree from Erciyes University in 2003 and has later pursued courses in management at Cornell University and Harvard Business School.

Career: After working on patient care and different healthcare projects in Turkey, he moved to Saudi Arabia and joined Abdul Latif Jameel to work on healthcare and social welfare projects before joining Fakeeh Care Group, a well-known Saudi healthcare organization in the Middle East.

At the group’s 650 bed capacity Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah, he handled myriad management responsibilities. He has moved to the United Arab Emirates to build and run the group’s 350 bed capacity, USD 500 mn investment, Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai, which opened successfully in 2021. Under his leadership, the hospital achieved many firsts in the region and received prestigious awards in a variety of areas. He has managed partnerships with several organizations, such as Siemens Healthineers, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Henkel, DP World, du, Emirates Red Crescent Society as well as the health-tech startups as Nabta and PrognicaHe was named one of Forbes’ Top 50 Healthcare Leaders

Sustainability: He is an enthusiast for CSR and sustainability issues, and founded CSR Middle East in 2005. He is a strong advocate of ESG awareness and regularly delivers speeches and podcasts to help the healthcare industry make investments that are good for the environment. He is one of the most active supporters of King Charles’s Terra Carta initiative.
