Meri Istiroti

Ms. İstiroti entered into Health Industry in 1990. She became one of the first healthcare executives to apply professional hospital management practices in Turkey.  

Consequently Ms. İstiroti worked at International Hospital, American Hospital ; Dünyagöz , Bayındır elderlycare center and rehabilitation hospital , neolife cancer center and Bozlu Group ,  Acıbadem Healthcare group and finally openned Liv Hospital which is now 6 hospitals since 2013 .  

So far, she openned 17 hospitals in her 32 years of career life .  Meri İstiroti worked as chairwoman at TÜSİAD (Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association ) ,  DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board) , ‘’Turkish Healthcare Travel Council’’(2015-2019) to introduce Turkey as one of the best medical tourism hubs in the world. She has five books : ‘’ Last Word by physicians ‘’ & ‘’ letters to my 30 th age self ‘’, “Compass: Integrative approach for healthcare marketing ”, “Letters Within Physicians’s bag” and “The Plane tree of the Ballet” the life of Madam Lili Barokas . She raises 2 children . 

She has been honored by ‘’honor reward ‘’  by two Rotary Clubs on 2014 and 2015 ,   rewarded as the ‘’year’s Health manager ‘’ on 2002 by the industry , “Lifetime honorary Award” was presented at 2019 and ‘’ Lifetime Professional Honor Award” at 2019 .

Currently, Meri İstroti is the Group Coordinator of Liv Hospital, the premium brand of the largest hospital chain in Turkey.
