Philipp von Hammerstein

Philipp von Hammerstein joined the Gimv Health & Care team in 2016. Since then he has been responsible for the acquisitions of MVZ Holding AG (Switzerland), Medi Markt Holding GmbH (Germany), GPNZ GmbH (Germany), rehaneo (Germany) and Apraxon (Germany) and represents Gimv on the board of directors of these companies. Prior to joining Gimv, he has been working at KPMG where he was a member of the Deal Advisory – M&A team. During his time with KPMG he provided lead-financial and strategic advice on more than 50 projects with a distinct focus on Healthcare and Life-Science transactions.

Philipp von Hammerstein studied in Bonn (Germany), Berlin (Germany) and Toulouse (France) and holds a Diploma from the Technical University of Berlin (Diplomkaufmann) as well as a Master’s degree in Management from ESC Toulouse/Toulouse Business School.
