Rachel King

Rachel King joined Spire in January 2023 as the Group HR Director, with responsibility for leading our people strategy across the Spire group.

Prior to joining Spire, Rachel was the Group People Director at Camelot, the regulated operator of The National Lottery where she sat on the executive committee, leading the transformation of the people strategy and culture. Prior to her six years at Camelot she held a number of senior executive roles in a wide range of organisations spanning media, broadcasting, technology and retail sectors. In addition, Rachel sits on the board of Network Homes, a London-based housing association.

Rachel is a member of the Executive Committee and the Safety, Quality and Risk Committee.
