Rob Walton leads GE Healthcare’s EMEA region, covering 120 countries across Europe, Middle East and Africa, supported by around 6000 employees speaking over 70 different languages.   EMEA is one of GE Healthcare’s most important and diverse regions, representing over a quarter of global revenues.  He is located at GE Healthcare’s global headquarters in Amersham, UK.

Prior to his current role, Rob was President & CEO of GE Healthcare Asia Pacific, based out of Singapore.   Here he was responsible for all markets across South East Asia, Korea, Australia & New Zealand, and led more than 25% growth in the business since 2019.

He originally joined GE in 2009 as Corporate Initiatives Director in EMEA, before relocating to USA in 2010 to lead the Global Respiratory & Sleep Care business, focusing on specialist ventilation and sleep apnea breathing devices for hospital and homecare applications.   At the end of 2013, Rob returned to the UK to take the role of Executive Leader, Operational Excellence, driving organizational, culture and process reengineering across GEHC.   In 2015, he became the global General Manager for GEHC Primary & Affordable Care, leading the development of ultrasound and acute care solutions for primary care and other value-based healthcare settings in emerging and developed markets

Prior to joining GE, Rob worked in engineering and supply chain at Unilever and Ford, and subsequently at Bain & Company as a senior strategy consultant.  Rob holds a master’s degree in Engineering from Cambridge University in the UK, and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
