Xavier Cheval

Xavier Cheval has served as CEO of Icade Santé since 2019. Icade Santé is a subsidiary of the French listed company Icade, specializing in healthcare real estate, with assets worth €7 billion. On March 13th, Icade and Primonial REIM signed an exclusivity agreement for the acquisition of Icade’s stake in Icade Santé. Following the completion of this transaction, Icade Santé would become part of Primonial’s funds dedicated to healthcare real estate, totalling €18b in aggregated gross asset value.

Xavier started working at Icade in 2011 after helping launch the healthcare real estate business as a consultant. He successively held the positions of Investment Director and then Investment Director. As part of his responsibilities, he oversees the management of one of the largest portfolios of European healthcare real estate assets across 5 countries and strives to create successful long-term partnerships with Icade Santé tenants.

Xavier Cheval began his career at Ernst & Young as a project finance consultant. He is a graduate engineer from École Centrale Paris (2005) and also holds an MBA (2016) from INSEAD.
