We’ve got some really interesting stuff now at HBI 2023, June 19-21.
Chinta Bhagat of L Catterton is speaking on how wellness and health care are merging. He has been around health care for 25 years, including being involved in the huge hospital deals which created IHH, the Pan-Asian hospital group. The ex-McKinsey partner has spent the last three years kicking digital business models globally and looking at wellness. He thinks that when wellness merges with health care that will transform health care. But he reckons wellness still has a weak consumer proposition compared to the instant gratification from, say, cosmetics. But he reckons that will change soon…
And we’ve got a fantastic session on how subscription services are boosting lifetime value as well. Panelists here include Sneh Khemka, CEO, Simply Health, a UK subscription health payor, Hendrik Hanekom, CEO, Intercare, a pioneering South African provider and Jalil Allabadi, Co Founder, ALTIBBI, the biggest digital health platform in MENA. They will share the metrics and business models. Here's what others have to say...

It's one place where you meet everyone: providers, insurers, digital health services - everyone. There are a lot of conversations about future models of health care such as subscription models. We know what we have done well but where are we going in the future?

HBI brings together the relevant stakeholders across the industry from providers to investors to advisers. That paves the way for very interesting discussions and to enable knowledge exchange between various players as well as planting the seeds for future partnerships.
