Julian Turner brings a lifetime of B2B publishing experience to HBI. CEO of Stock Market-listed Electric Word for 17 years, he built it from zero to a successful exit via a recommended takeover offer in 2017. He previously held senior positions at Euromoney and The Guardian. He has an MA in History from Cambridge University and a strong interest in education as a non-exec director at Camden Learning and chair of a rapidly-improving local community school.

Lee Murray - Chief Customer Officer

Lee is responsible for gaining a deep understanding of our customers and ensuring that their voice is heard throughout all aspects of the business. He has a keen interest in Workforce, digital health, investment strategy and business models.

David Farbrother - Editor

An award-nominated journalist who has edited award-winning papers, David has been with HBI for three years and is responsible for overseeing HBI's editorial output including news, and the HBI Intelligence Centre. He takes a particular interest in ophthalmology, fertility, dentistry and cosmetic surgery.

Rubén de Diego - Research and Database Manager

Ruben manages the HBI Research Database of almost 3,500 private healthcare operators, and the HBI Market Share Tool in the HBI Intelligence platform. He is always interested in hearing about new players in the market, and developing new features on the HBI platform.

Mark Hughes - New Business Development Executive

Graduated in Tourism Management in Seville, Spain. Previously worked in financial rating agencies in Madrid on the marketing and account management. After a few years there he took a trading job with a more international exposure, selling to South East Asia, Europe, South America and parts of Africa. Languages: Spanish and Portuguese

Janki is an ACCA certified accountant. She has worked extensively with corporate businesses like HCA International, and within the academic sector. She is well versed in company accounts, the auditing process, intercompany accounts, VAT, and reconciliation of financial statements. In her spare time, she enjoys adventure sports, driving and taking part in cultural activities.
