Quarterly Membership Update

HBI Connect and HBI Intelligence members have access to the latest news and in addition they also the Operator Database, the Investment Database and Market Reports. With this in mind, we are constantly improving the features of the memberships, ensuring that our HBI Connect and HBI Intelligence members receive the best experience. This year is no different we kicked off 2023 with a series of membership product updates in the first quarter. 

​​​Here's a summary of key updates and changes that we made to HBI Memberships in the first quarter of 2023:​

Introduced 130 new investments in the Investment Database

We have added 130 new investment transactions to the Investment database. So you know who the players are and how the investment landscape is shaping up. 

Additional 199 new operators were included in the Operator Database

An additional 199 new healthcare operators have been added to the Operator Database, bringing the database to 5,317 active operators listed, which HBI Connect and HBI Intelligence members can search for by commercial status, whether the health care services operator is privately held, listed on a stock exchange, a wholly owned subsidiary. You can also, search for health care services operators by sectors they operate in and by geographical location, oh and, of course, by name!

A new "Sale Agreed" category is included in the pipeline

The popular Deals Pipeline Tool displays an estimated likelihood of an health care services operator’s sale in the next 12 months. You can now easily see health care services operators which have announced a deal as a sale agreed upon, which appears in green.

By clicking on any organisation listed in the Deals Pipeline Tool you are taken to that organisation’s full HBI Operator Profile page.

A new badge system was implemented on the HBI Operator Profile page

A new badge system has been implemented to make it easy for HBI Connect and HBI Intelligence Members to see within the HBI Operator Profile page categories, such as Sale Agreed, TOP100 Operator and International Operator badges for organisation profiles meeting these criteria.

There has been much analysis done on various markets, below is a table of the Market Reports that either had an extensive report rewrite or an important update stemming from news on the market. In the first quarter, HBI also added two additional Market Reports for laboratories in Saudi and the UAE.
