Small listed-hospital operator TMC Life Sciences is paying $111m for a 1.6 hectare development site in Malaysia, 40kms from Singapore. The site in Johor Baru, Malayasia’s third largest city, has planning approval for a large medical hub. It is being bought from a company owned by businessman Peter Lim who also has a majority of TMC Life Sciences. The site is also 30% owned by the Crown prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Idris.
