Home oxygen prices vary by a factor of eight across Europe

Reimbursements for the provision of medical oxygen in the home vary by as much as eightfold, with the Dutch paying as little as €835 compared to as much as €6,760 in Switzerland and €5,668 in France. In the UK some NHS authorities pay as little as €1,215.  Why is there so much variance? And which countries are doing the most to control costs?
