Nutrisens acquisition by Cinven reflects rising demand in medical nutrition market

Cinven, the international private equity firm, entered exclusive negotiations last week to acquire French clinical nutrition specialist Nutrisens from Sagard MidCap, a global multi-strategy alternative asset management firm. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the deal remains subject to regulatory approval.
