Spanish government wants to remove PMI’s tax exemption in midst of MUFACE crisis

Spain’s cabinet government wants to remove the tax exemption currently enjoyed by the country’s private health insurance sector. The proposal may struggle to get enough votes to pass Spain’s legislature, but if it does it could mean an 8% tax rate being imposed on premiums for health insurance.
