Who are the biggest health care real estate investors in Europe? As part of our deep-dive into Europe’s health care real estate investment landscape we’ve put together a list of investors with over €500m health care assets under management.
The list includes 21 real estate investors, eleven of which are pure health care real estate investors.
15 of the 21 investors are involved in the care home sector, with three of those exclusively investing in care homes. This is unsurprising given care homes account for 40-50% of European health care real estate investment volumes.
Besides care homes, the most popular assets are hospitals, assisted living accommodation, primary care centres and rehab clinics.
