CEO Club and CEO Survey for HBI 2026
The CEO of an international hospital group remarked to me earlier this week that there are some important personal characteristics one needs in order to be successful as a CEO working in healthcare: firstly that you need to be always optimistic, and secondly, to be a little bit crazy!
Changing times mean that the current environment in which many healthcare CEOs work is one of squeezed margins, sky-rocketing demand, and inflationary pressures. All of which compete for attention.
What CEOs want is an oasis of calm, a place to meet with their national and international peers. It is a place where they can share stories, share ideas or to simply benchmark their ideas (or their craziness) away from prying eyes and ears.
This is the oasis of calm and opportunity that HBI will deliver at HBI 2026 as part of the new CEO Club initiative. This is the evolution of HBI. The home of a thriving CEO community for the past 15 years, we are now formalising the proposition and widening the opportunity to welcome greater numbers of CEOs to participate in strategic dialogue in an environment designed for just that purpose.
Last week we released the ranking list of the Top 100 For-Profit Hospital Groups and invited the CEOs of these 100 groups to attend HBI 2026 as our guests. This week we are sharing how you can register.
How does it work?
Qualifying CEOs can register or be registered to attend HBI 2026 by completing any installment of the CEO survey which we will release in installments between now and February. .
The first installment, which takes just six minutes, is now live: Click here to complete the survey.
What happens next?
- We’ll present the full findings of the survey at HBI 2026 on Monday, March 23, as part of the CEO Club.
- All participating CEOs will also receive the findings of the survey by email after HBI 2026 has concluded.
- If a qualifying CEO is unable to attend HBI 2026, they may nominate their CFO or equivalent to attend in their place.
This is your opportunity to shape the conversation at the highest level of healthcare investment and strategy.
