Report: China – Elder care experts split on merits of care home ownership

While there is near-universal agreement on the business case for foreign companies to open and run for-profit elder care facilities in mainland China, experts differ on the best way to go about it. In particular, there is a difference of opinion between those who think that joint ventures between foreign and China-based companies are the way to go, and some who insist that wholly foreign-owned enterprises, or WFOEs, make more sense.
