Fast growing revenues are a clear indicator that domiciliary care demand is on the rise, and we predict market growth of 5-10% growth across Europe by the end of 2021 as alternatives to under-fire nursing homes remain in demand and rapidly ageing populations require solutions. France, Germany and the UK have the highest growth rates, and many of the largest companies below are heavily invested in these

The sector is generally fragmented but regulation changes in France and Germany are raising wages and likely to increase consolidation opportunities as smaller businesses are unable to meet wage requirements.

French group Oui Care, which tops our list, has been expanding internationally since 2017, and has a presence in Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Colombia. City & County have been consolidating domestically in the UK, most recently acquiring rivals MiHomecare Limited and Complete Care Amegreen.
