Industrial gas giant Linde has bought French homecare provider Calea. The company was part of Fresenius Kabi, the worldwide infusion/nutrition and transfusion business. The acquisition is one of several that have turned Linde into a serious player in the French oxygen market. Meanwhile, the German Federal Cartel Authority has approved Fresenius Kabi’s acquisition of US blood player Fenwal Holdings, which gives Fresenius Kabi a 33% share in blood donation in Germany.
