Happy New Year: Creating Value in Changing Times

In a little over ten weeks HBI 2026 will kick-off with the theme, “Creating Value in Changing Times”. I’m thrilled to be able to share that all the signs are pointing towards this being the biggest HBI conference yet.

If you haven’t already booked your place, you can find out more here HBI 2026 March 23- 25 CNIT Forest Paris

We chose the theme for this year’s conference to encapsulate the need for healthcare investors to continuously create value, for patients, for society, and — yes — for their shareholders too, in the face of deep demographic, technological, and geopolitical challenges…which may also be regarded as opportunities.

The volume and diversity of companies attending is certainly going to be the best yet, bolstered by our decision to introduce new streams covering Life Sciences, Healthcare IT, and Digital Health, to complement our core existing streams covering healthcare services.

The volume of CEOs, underpinned by our new CEO Club, is firmly on track to be the highest ever, as is the total number of delegates.

Having expanded the space for Executive Meeting Suites by 50% compared to last year, we anticipate that all of these dedicated meeting spaces will be occupied (there are a few left, contact me to choose your space while you still can). Which means that we can be confident that the number of formal meetings will also be the highest ever.

If you are reading this blog and you have yet to book your place at HBI 2026 I would like to take this opportunity to strongly urge you to do so. HBI is the place to meet CEOs, to do deals, to forge partnerships, and to connect with the healthcare decision makers — those new to you and old friends alike — who drive the market forward. It is the healthcare investing conference where formal meetings and informal networking events turn changing times into opportunities.

Over three full days the schedule is packed with breakfast sessions, lunches, receptions and dinners. These are all golden opportunities to network with your peers. If you’re not in the room you may find that someone else is quite literally eating your lunch!

With all joking aside, we invite those who are committed to creating value in healthcare to join us and by joining us to enrich our community still further. I hope to see you there.
