New HBI tool shows investor landscape for healthcare services

Private equity has made at least 750 investments in healthcare services in the past fifteen years, while institutional investors have made over 220. HBI’s new investor tool catalogues all of these so that you can find who’s invested in any subsector – historical and current – the healthcare services portfolio of major investors, and which sectors are attracting new interest.

The Investor tool is live on the HBI Intelligence platform where you can search by investor, by sector, by country or region and by investment type.

You can use it, for example, to find out which private equity firms own stakes in adult care businesses. It shows how likely the company is to come for sale in the next year, which is based on a proprietary algorithm and researcher intel, and the company revenue, which we’ve blocked out for the purpose of this demonstration.

You can also use the tool to see the healthcare services portfolio of any given investor, including private equity, venture capital, sovereign wealth fund, institutional investors, family office, infrastructure funds, and development banks. The profile overview shows a map and table of its investments.

HBI Intelligence and Connect members have free access to the platform until the end of the year. If you’re not a member but are interested in the product, please email thomas@healthcarebusinessinternational.com
