Private equity ownership in EMEA dentistry: Clinic footprint ranking
This week’s infographic looks at the landscape of private equity ownership in the EMEA dentistry sector, focusing on clinic footprints. It ranks the top private equity-backed dental groups by the number of clinics they operate across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The data has been sourced from the HBI Intelligence database.
Switzerland’s Jacobs Holding owns around 620 clinics through Colosseum Dental. Following closely are Carlyle & Palamon from the USA and UK with 550 clinics under MyDentist, and Sweden’s EQT Partners with 520 clinics operating as Praktikertjänst. Belgium’s Core Equity Holdings manages approximately 450 clinics via Portman Dental Care, while USA-based Advent International owned Donte Group with 410 clinics. The UK’s CapVest Partners operate about 220 clinics through Rodericks Dental Partners. Sweden’s Nordic Capital runs 165 clinics within the European Dental Group, and USA’s Summit Partners oversees around 112 clinics through DentalPro and Giovanni Bona.
These numbers represent the most recent available updates on clinic footprints, showing how international investors are scaling major outpatient dental platforms in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
