Dr Parmena Radut, chief medical officer at Eureko Romania, the Dutch owned healthcare insurer, which has a 48% share of the Romanian private medical insurance market, says that Romania will implement a new system in July under which citizens will have to meet all the first 600 lei (€150) of their annual healthcare charges out of their own pockets.
