Top 5 private healthcare providers based on 2024 revenues

This week’s infographic looks at the top 5 private healthcare providers based on 2024 revenues in EMEA.

The data has been sourced from the HBI Intelligence database.

Fresenius Helios leads the ranking with €7.7 billion in revenue, operating across Germany and Latin America. This does not include the €5 billion revenue from its Spanish subsidiary Quirónsalud. Asklepios Kliniken follows with €6 billion, with operations concentrated in Germany through a large network of acute hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation facilities. emeis, formerly Orpea Group, reports €5.6 billion, with a footprint spanning France, Germany, Central and Southern Europe, primarily in elderly care, rehabilitation and mental health.

Clariane (formerly Korian) generates €5.3 billion, operating in France, Germany, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands, offering elderly care, home care and mental health services. Ramsay Santé rounds out the top five with €5 billion. It operates mainly in France, Scandinavia and Italy. Ramsay Santé is presented here as an individual entity, separate from its parent company Ramsay Health Care, which has a substantial portion of its revenues from Australia and other non-EMEA markets, totaling about €4.5 billion including €4 billion from only healthcare services.
