Which European healthcare real estate markets attract the most capital?
This week’s infographic highlights where institutional capital is actually going in European healthcare real estate.
The data has been sourced from the HBI Intelligence database.
Drawing on HBI Intelligence database data, two markets clearly dominate: the UK and Germany together account for the bulk of institutional presence, with around 71% and 62% of investors in our ranking active in each country respectively. Spain, France and Italy form a second tier, each attracting roughly one‑third of investors, while the Netherlands, Finland and Ireland draw just over a quarter.
Beyond this core group, Belgium and Portugal are covered by fewer than one in five investors, Luxembourg and Sweden see very limited international capital and Switzerland, Norway and Poland each feature just a single investor from this cohort.
Our healthcare real estate ranking is out now.
