Winners for Madrid hospital contracts

The winners of the ten-year contracts to run six of Madrid’s public hospitals have been announced. The administrative concessions - under which private operators will run the hospitals covering over one million people as well as co-funding capital investments with the Madrid region - have been controversial, drawing protests from the public and loud complaints from hospital providers.
