Bulgarian hospitals face troubled future

Bulgarian hospitals face a crisis if plans to cut Sofia’s number of publicly funded hospital beds by 40% go ahead. Redeploying National Health Insurance Funds (NHIF) to the regions, will slash the number of reimbursed surgical operations in the capital.
