Marco Alvarez set up Grupo Dabvsa with Angel Ventures (now Salus Holdings) in 2005 to provide medicalised homecare, day centres and a nursing school in Mexico City. Now the largest provider in the capital, Marco discusses the social stigma of elderly care in Mexico, demographics, and how focusing on technical and medical assistance has helped the group work alongside traditional domiciliary caregivers.
