Join me and the CEO of Diaverum on Tuesday

COVID-19 is forcing all of us to explore new business models and as a content business we are no exception. I’d like to invite you to join us on Tuesday for our inaugural online event: an interview and Q&A with Dimitris Moulavasilis, CEO of global dialysis player Diaverum.  This will just be the first in what is an ambitious schedule planned for summer and autumn 2020.

I like to think that my company can claim to have brought together the health care service industry globally through our annual HBI conference. This year the global pandemic has meant that we have had to push our HBI 2020 conference back to December. Nevertheless, we remain fully committed to providing value to our customers and sponsors and we are busy exploring how we can best deliver both content and networking in a digital environment.

You are very welcome to join us at our first webinar. To register to hear how Diaverum has responded to the COVID-19 crisis and its likely long-term impact on health care please click here. It’s going to be fascinating: Dimitris is a real innovator!

When I ask delegates why they like our annual conference (which attracts over 700 delegates from more than 40 countries) they put the chance to network with their peers first, followed by the interactivity of the discussions and the quality of content. Our aim is offer a digital experience that mirrors those priorities. So we’ve been feverishly exploring the best ways to deliver digital networking, testing more than a dozen potential platforms. Our very first event will offer live Q&A, with audience members invited not only to pose their questions by text chat but also to come up onto the ‘stage’ to ask their questions directly. Later sessions will offer the chance for you to participate in workshops and even the serendipity of meeting new and interesting people along the way!

All the digital events are included as part of the package for the 500+ delegates who have already booked their 2020 conference tickets. We’re inviting everyone to the inaugural event, and selected people will be invited to participate in relevant sessions as a further taster. I hope you will join me on this strange journey into a new and changing world.  While none of us knows what is possible as technology and behavior changes rapidly, I’m excited to find out.
