DomusVi founder and management take control from ICG

The management of DomusVi, the pan-European nursing home group, backed by DomusVi founder Yves Journel's investment vehicle, have bought out private equity firm ICG in a leveraged buyout. The group was reportedly valued at €4.3bn, 16.4 times adjusted 2020 EBITDA.

Triton “invests” in Bergman – Aleris merger to follow?

PE firm Triton has agreed to "invest" in Dutch, Nordic and German ambulatory clinic operator Bergman Clinics, possibly implying it is not buying control from NPM Capital and the Malensteins who are retaining stakes. Triton would not comment on the size of the stake nor on our speculation it plans to merge Bergman with Nordic operator Aleris.

Bergman buys German cosmetic group

Netherlands-based ambulatory and ophthalmology clinic group Bergman Clinics, currently exploring a sale that could raise over €1bn, has acquired German aesthetic surgical treatments platform Medical One.
