Carbyne Equity Partners buys SuanNutra from ARCHIMED

Carbyne Equity Partners, a German private equity firm, has acquired SuanNutra, a division of the Spanish company Suanfarma that makes and supplies ingredients for the pharmaceutical, veterinary and nutritional sectors. The business was bought from French private equity firm ARCHIMED.

Gulf Capital exits ART Fertility’s Middle East operations for ~$450m

Gulf Capital, an alternative investment firm specialising in deploying locally raised capital in the GCC region, has exited the Middle East operations of ART Fertility Clinics, selling its majority stake to IVI RMA Global, a Spain‑based provider of fertility and assisted reproduction services backed by global investment firm KKR.

Advent sells Donte to OTPP for €1bn

Donte Group (formerly Vitaldent), Spain’s largest dental chain, has been sold by US PE firm Advent to Canadian pension fund Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP), for €1 billion. OTPP tells us the plan is to continue growing the group within the Spanish dental market organically, and work with Donte to consider “selective” M&A opportunities.
