As revealed exclusively by Healthcare Europa three weeks ago, financing for the first operator led public-private partnership (PPP) in Poland has been finalised after a three-year process. Several more deals are already in the pipeline in Poland and Slovakia. Healthcare Europa journalist Rhiannon Williams speaks to Nasser Massoud of InterHealth Canada, the Toronto-based international healthcare management company that won the 30-year contract, about the deal and the future of PPPs.

Advent to sell Regina Maria and American Heart of Poland

With a background in sales and marketing Credit Suisse, Zurich and Commercial Union she joined LUX MED in 2002 as sales and marketing director.

Permira to build new imaging services provider

Private equity house Permira is backing a merger between Mesa Medical, a Pan-European supplier of third party maintenance and used imaging kit, and Asteral, which is the largest provider of managed equipment services around imaging equipment in the UK.
